The Jackson 5ive was an African American group. They lived in Gary Indiana. The music they played was mostly R&B,funk,soul, and Motown. The people in the group were Joe,Jackie,Tito,Jermaine,Marlon and Micheal. Well two of them were there cousins but they were still known as the Jackson 5ive. And in the 70's they were so popualr the had there own cartoon on saturday mornings. The jackson 5ive were never in a band before. And one of there biggest hits was ABC.
The band formed when they were about 6 or 7 they form because they always like to play with there fathers guitar so that inspired them to form to name the band The Jackson 5. Most of there lyrics were about young love. And there life. Well i chose the song I'll be there that is my favorite song of the group because a band and of course because they brothers they have the same last name they decided it has a lot of meaning to it and I think of my mom because i know that she will always there for me when ever I need her. Something unique about the Jackson 5ive is that they are African American but Micheal got a disease that it turned his skin color white.
The Jackson 5ive went their separate ways and some of them even have a solo carrier. The Jackson 5ive have won a lot of awards in there time that they work together and one day i hope they get back to be the Jackson five again. The thing i love most about the Jackson 5ive is that all of there songs have meaning.
